oh yeah i forgot to talk about that didn't i...

if you're familiar with my website in the past (may 2024 - february 2026) or any of my other sites; you'll know i love to decorate with flashy images and millions of weird gradient css textboxes and enough widgets to destroy your browser.

however, i've got way less time on my hands nowadays. i have a job to look forward to and rent to pay and family to see.

but my website is nothing if not one of my greatest long-term passions. so i'm not going to abandon it -- even if i'm far less chronically online now (that's not even true... i still have like an 8hr screen time average on twitter)

so i've decided to fully simplify it. not because i necessarily hate how it looked before; but i really want to take things easy for once instead of always worrying about perfecting my code. as passionate as i am about my site, i'm not going to deny that site updates can often be stressful for me. especially when i lock myself in a mindest where i believe i have to constantly deliver new content.

also, if i'm being honest it just kind of looks cool. and it's far more compatable with vintage/less capable browsers & operating system. which is something i like if you didn't catch on.

oh yeah i guess it works on mobile too... doesn't mean i approve of mobile users but i guess there's nothing you can do.
